Viscose Santoon Fabric

Viscose Santoon

Viscose Santoon (or Sateen) fabric is a variant of viscose fabric that is particularly known for its glossy finish and smooth texture. It combines the inherent properties of viscose, such as softness and breathability, with a unique weave that imparts a satin-like sheen to one side of the fabric, while the other side remains matte. This weaving technique is similar to that used in making satin, but Viscose Santoon utilizes viscose fibers, making it a more affordable alternative to silk satin.

Properties

  • Glossy Finish: The most distinctive feature of Viscose Santoon is its smooth, glossy surface, which resembles satin.
  • Softness: It retains the soft, comfortable feel characteristic of viscose fabrics.
  • Drape: Exhibits excellent draping qualities, making it ideal for flowing garments.
  • Breathability: Like viscose, it is breathable, suitable for wear in warm conditions.
  • Color Richness: The fabric holds dyes well, resulting in deep, vibrant colors.
