Cotton Cambric
Cotton Cambric is a finely woven, lightweight fabric made from 100% cotton. Known for its smooth, lustrous surface and dense weave, cambric presents a slight sheen that enhances its appeal. Historically, it was first made in the early 16th century in Cambrai, France, which is how it got its name. The fabric is closely related to batiste but is slightly heavier; however, it maintains a similar level of delicacy and softness. Cotton Cambric is treated to create a slightly glossy finish, distinguishing it from other lightweight cotton fabrics.
